Started at 18h00 finished at 01h00 the following morning with about 20 players on the field. Two “Defend the Flag” games were played in almost pitch black darkness, on a bush game area of about 50m square, very difficult indeed. While most thought that it might be cold, the evening was very pleasant indeed. After a brief foray as marshal (about 10min) I retired to the safe zone where I would not get shot again and left the players to self-regulation, . I did not even try to marshal the second game and stuck to playing with matches and firewood, a far less painful option! The players regulated their own game well, with very little, if any, evidence of paint-wiping, well done guys! Thanks to the girls who played, judging by the smiles afterwards, this is not just a guys game - Watch out Guys - You’ve got Competition on the Way!

Thanks also to Rory and the bandits team for joining us!
